would my 2 guinea pigs be ok in the garage/shed ??

my car is kept in the garage weed killer and windscreen wash etc is kept in the shed, they’d be kept in an indoor cage. They have blankets etc food and water.

Never keep a guinea pig in a used garrage with a car as the fumes are not good at all. I would move any toxic things, such as weed killer and keep them in the shed. Ideally in an outdoor cage as the offer more protection from the cold. If not, make sure they have plenty of bedding. A heat warming plate is also a good idea, you can microwave them and they stay warm for up for 12 hours, and can be put under the bedding.
The pets at home website and store sells them
In an ideal world you should really wait until summer to put them outside, especially in the indoor cage!! Otherwise just make sure they’re nice and warm, and take out anthing that could hurt them!

They’ll be fine as long as the garage is ventilated, ie leave a small window open or make sure there is a gap around the door. Give them plenty of hay to make a nest, not straw as it isn’t as "warm" and keep a blanket or other heavy cover over the cage at night if its really cold but take it off in the daytime to let air circulate.
Guinea pigs can be kept outside all year if they are acclimatized but if you just bought them from a pet store its best not to put them outside in the winter. I remember the water bottles being frozen solid some mornings it was so cold but they were fine in their warm beds.
Obviously you will need to put their cage outside as soon as it gets above freezing at night. They need sunlight otherwise they might become sick. They don’t produce their own Vitamin C so need food with that added in.
Don’t forget they love grass to nibble on so if you don’t have a run put them fresh pulled grass (not cut with a lawnmower) that hasn’t been sprayed or come from the roadside.

Used to breed guinea pigs in the UK and they lived outdoors all year round.
Just be sure to keep checking on them, if they are in fact too cold you will be able to tell by their body language. Again, the blankets should keep them warm, but I would also put a blanket over the top of the cage and keep checking the water. I doubt that it reaches below freezing within the shed/garage but you can never be too careful.

I kept mine in a unheated shed and they were fine (they lived for about 5 years). Just give them a lot of hay, more when its cold and they will burrow.

If they are kept inside the house, they should never be moved away from the warmth they are used to. They can get chest infections very easy. Plus they will miss the attention they are used to.
Don’t put them any where near the car as it will sooner or later kill them. As long as chemicals are well sealed and well away from them, it is normally not too bad.
