Thought I’d test out the reconstructed camera with an exterior shot for good measure. I meant to post a picture for Darrell of the carport our landlord is building, so here I am killing two birds with one stone.
We rent this place and moved in about 18 months ago. Right from the word go, the landlord has been promising (threatening?) to build a carport. 4 weeks ago the work actually started and he said it would be finished within the week. The frame certainly went up within the week, but since then all that has happened is they came around and slapped a coat of paint on some of the posts.
You can’t tell here (because the shot is out of focus), but those posts are raw wood – full of splinters. He doesn’t appear to be interested in sanding the wood before painting.
The carport is positioned in a way that obstructs the path to the front door. This is no surprise to us, but he clearly has an agenda to put this place on the market at some point and in order to boost the sale price he is putting up the cheapest, shoddiest carport he thinks he can get away with. It will probably work too, but the damn thing is either going to be a thorn in the side for future occupants, and will be the first thing a future owner will tear down.
