Want a separate place to play drums… how can I build my own shed/separate garage?
My friend wants a room away from the house (somewhere in the backyard) to play drums in. She is debating on a number of things. One is either buying a shed from Lowe’s/Sears/HD. The other is building her own shed/separate garage by hand. She will install windows and a portable a/c unit. Which would be cheaper and better in the long run?

Well coming to UR cheaper plans of making own shed, hangar or some big type of hall. Go to some abandoned run way or sea port or military camp, wherein U ‘ll find some big hangar or billet or garage or warehouse or shed and U may convert into UR liking and look at what their shed’s look like to get an idea, design to UR taste and get going with big bang on drums without causing noise pollution ! But do not forget to inform about UR whereabouts before proceeding ! What about reply to my ? baasugadu.

How to build a shed door from T 1-11?
I’m building a shed with T-1-11 siding, and want to build a door from the same material. How can I build it to avoid warping
You could build the door using treated 2 x 4′s outlining the frame of the door and "X" treated 2 x 4′s inside. Then use a piece of plywood on the inside and the T1-11 on the outside. This creates a laminating affect to deter any warping.
A piano hinge also helps any warping.

Where Can I Get Shed Plans.?
Hi People,
I would like very much to build a shed 10′X12′ or in that area of size perhaps on a trailer with wheels for town ordinance reasons. Where can I aquire plans for such a task. This will be my first time swinging a hammer in this type of project. All opinions are welcome. Thank you for your input.
More answers are needed. I have been to the major chain stores and they only want to sell already made sheds for thousands of $. I want to buy lumber and build my own but I need building plans also.
We designed and are in the process of building our own shed. We used the book Taunton’s Building Like a Pro, Building a Shed available in the book section at Lowes. It gives detailed instructions for siting and planning a shed, designing a shed to match your storage needs, materials lists for economy and durability, how to complete floor, wall and roof framing, all the step by step information you need to build a great shed. He also gives you advice when things go wrong or you make mistakes. It is an inexpensive, invaluable resource guide with detailed plans, drawings and photos and we have found it indispensible in building ours.

Ive bought a couple of Tomato plants but have no garden to grow in, just a concrete patio area.?
Ive bought a couple of Tomato plants but have no garden to grow in, just a concrete patio area. Would it be ok to grow them in a old plastic storage box(is quite big, I use it to store 12 inch vinyls in. If ok I will drill some holes in bottom for drainage, but what soil is best to buy?
